These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the LeadThrow platform (the "Platform"), operated by Tax Choices LTD (Company Number: SC876345), registered at 2/3, 48 West George Street, Glasgow, G2 1BP, United Kingdom. "LeadThrow" is a trading name of Tax Choices LTD.
By registering an account, purchasing leads, or using any feature of the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including businesses purchasing leads, data lists, and calling lists.
"Lead" means a homeowner enquiry generated through Facebook, TikTok, or Google advertising and made available for purchase on the Platform.
"Lead Purchase" means the acquisition of a Lead on a one-off or automated basis.
"Auto-Purchase Rule" means a rule configured by you to automatically purchase Leads matching specified postcode areas, campaign types, and budget limits.
"Data List" means a downloadable dataset of homeowner records, including TPS-cleansed data and solar panel homeowner data.
"Calling List" means a dataset of homeowner contact records screened against the Telephone Preference Service.
"Resale" means the re-listing of a purchased Lead for sale to another user after the initial 30-day exclusivity period.
"Credit" means the account balance held on the Platform available for purchasing Leads, Data Lists, or Calling Lists.
To use the Platform you must register an account by providing accurate and complete business information, including your company name, contact details, and selected postcode areas.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to bind the business you represent.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
We reserve the right to refuse registration or suspend accounts that provide false information or breach these Terms.
Leads are generated through paid advertising and routed to users based on selected postcode areas and campaign types. Campaign types include Window Replacement, Boiler Replacement, Solar Panel Installation, Roof Replacement, and Kitchen Upgrade.
Each Lead is sold exclusively to one buyer for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. During this exclusivity period, the Lead will not be sold to any other user.
Lead prices range from £5 to £20 depending on the campaign type and lead attributes. The price of each Lead is displayed before purchase.
Leads are delivered instantly upon purchase, with email notification sent to the registered email address.
We perform HLR (Home Location Register) checks on all mobile numbers to verify they are live before a Lead is made available for purchase.
You may configure Auto-Purchase Rules to automatically purchase Leads matching your specified postcode areas, campaign types, maximum price per lead, and weekly or monthly budget limits.
Auto-Purchase Rules will only execute when sufficient Credit or validated payment methods are available on your account.
You are responsible for monitoring your Auto-Purchase Rules and budget settings. We are not liable for purchases made under an active Auto-Purchase Rule that you have configured.
Auto-Purchase Rules may be deactivated or deleted at any time from your dashboard.
After the 30-day exclusivity period, you may list a Lead for resale by setting a Pitch & Miss price. If the Lead is verified and resold to another user, you will receive 50% of the resale value credited to your account.
If you wish to retain exclusivity on a Lead for an additional 30 days, a fee of £5 will be charged.
If you mark a Lead as "Sold", the Lead will not be resold to other companies.
Resale credits are issued at the discretion of our team and are subject to verification of the Lead status.
Data Lists and Calling Lists are downloadable datasets purchased through the Platform. TPS-cleansed homeowner data is priced at £69 per 1,000 records. Solar panel homeowner data is priced at £249 per 1,000 records.
Orders are processed after successful payment. Files are typically ready for download within one hour.
Data Lists and Calling Lists are provided for your internal business use only. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the data.
TPS-cleansed data is screened against the Telephone Preference Service at the time of preparation. It is your responsibility to comply with all applicable telemarketing regulations, including the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), when using the data.
Due to the nature of downloadable data products, Data Lists and Calling Lists are non-refundable once the file has been downloaded.
If a Lead does not meet our quality standards, you may request a credit return within 14 days of the Lead purchase via the Credit Return Request Form on the Platform.
Eligible reasons for credit returns include invalid phone numbers, wrong service requests, platform misuse, accidental purchases, and duplicate charges. Full details are set out in our Lead Return Policy.
All credit return requests are reviewed by our Credit Returns Team and are issued at our sole discretion.
We aim to respond to credit return requests within 48 hours.
Payments are processed through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.
For Auto-Purchase Rules, you must maintain a validated payment method on file. We may charge your payment method off-session for Leads purchased automatically.
All prices are in British Pounds Sterling (£) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Account Credits may be used towards future purchases on the Platform and have no cash value.
The Platform includes email and SMS marketing tools that allow you to send templated messages to purchased Leads.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your marketing communications comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the PECR and the UK GDPR.
You must not send unsolicited marketing communications to individuals who have not consented or who are registered with the TPS, unless an applicable exemption applies.
We are not liable for any breach of marketing regulations committed by you when using the communication tools.
The Platform includes tools to generate quotes and invoices for your Leads. These documents are generated based on the information you provide.
You are responsible for the accuracy of all quotes and invoices issued through the Platform.
We do not provide accounting or tax advice. You should consult a qualified professional for advice on VAT and tax obligations.
You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) submit false or misleading information; (c) attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or its systems; (d) resell or redistribute Leads or Data Lists in breach of these Terms; (e) use Leads or data for purposes other than legitimate home improvement marketing; or (f) engage in phishing, bot activity, or competitor testing.
Violation of these acceptable use terms may result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of any Credits.
The Platform, its design, branding, and software are the intellectual property of Tax Choices LTD. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.
Leads and data purchased through the Platform are licensed to you for internal business use only. You do not acquire ownership of the underlying data.
We provide Leads and data on an "as is" basis. While we take steps to verify lead quality, we do not guarantee that any Lead will result in a sale or conversion.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Lead, Data List, or Calling List that gave rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of opportunity.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, any unused Credits may be forfeited.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, provide false information, or engage in conduct that we deem harmful to the Platform or its users.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
